    Unhappy painting a cpu case!?

I've seen so many shiny cases, but damn not a single place on the web where theres a nice in depth explanation to the theory behind it and how its actually done, so can anyone give a link?? or explain a bit? oh and if you got a really nice shiny custom case pic, do post em!

I guess you really don't read to much when you look for info. How about the Second Sticky Thread Named How-To Guides. Did you even consider reading through them?? If you spend a little time searching you would have found your answer.

it'll work ok too, but you won't get a nice flat shiny surface...you'll still have some texture from the paint you'll be painting over, and a little from the spraypaint itself. if you wanna just give it a quick color job, wipe down what you wanna paint with alcohol to clean off any oils or dirt from your hands touching it, and then give it several light coats of paint.

Cuz salesman hammers in that concept to unsuspecting customers!
What you learn first will most likely stay with you.
And worse, stay with you forever, if you are a stubborn person.

    Well he said "cpu CASE."

If you think about it... That's kind of correct. Your case houses your processor.

Why not just paint it...then spray it with some glossy clearcoat stuff, then it'll be shiny.
