My vision is improving!
"You pump 2.2v in to your chip?! I sure hope not..."
heheh just ask lost, he did 2.1v and says if it doesnt run hot its safe to pump lots of voltage for a short time. I actually thank him for giving me the balls to push every ounce outta my cpu
"check the AMD OC databse from VR-Zone... and tell me how many Tbred B's you see clocked to 2.5+GHz on air!"
does that matter? for everyone that breaks 2.5GHz, there are 20 that dont and they keep quiet about their overclocks.....
"we still don't know what speed you really run the 2000+ at, in all the posts asking about that, you have conveniently left that info out."
If you would click the link in my 3dmark sig, youd see that all those scores were taken at 2475MHz, thanks
"where are the benchies??? how long can you run prime 95???"
If I can complete 3dmark, it is over 95% stable to me. prime95 is quite irrevelent to me, seeing I must clock some 200MHz less to complete prime95 but I dont care if 3dmark and every game I throw out works just fine, do you guys agree? just because I can play all day doesnt mean ill clock lower cause prime95 crashes after like a min.
"I hit 2.5GHZ stable on watercooling, (28C idle, 32C load) but couldn't go any higher because of my mobo's crap vcore."
and what v core was that?
"Should this call respect for a 2000 or make me wonder why you didn't get a 2100+??"
or maybe they are all the same chip?
" It's more of a personal thing, that I dont let, get too personal"
Thats ok dude, no need to be jealous, I didnt quite match your overclock anyway but my comp is far from "crap" and your opinion means nothing, if 2.47GHz is crap, then your 2.66GHz wont be a whole world better dude......

I guess I'm echoing, in a way, what Lost mentioned earlier about shouting to the world about an o/c. I hope this isn't petty jealousy (I don't think so) on my part, but there's a lot of people here who get great o/c's and great benches and don't use a megaphone over it.

Looks like I might have to do just that soon... as far as SF goes. But on AIM, I'll keep talking to him. I get a kick out of him, lol.

yes, i did it before too. But when i turn off my computer, not all power leaves instantaneously. So i pretty much cleared the cmos with the power on. And that, my friends, is not good. Good for a broken mobo, lost money, and a lot of trouble.

I almost ALWAYS cleared my CMOS like that. Never gave my Asus any problems. Of course, we all (ok, maybe just me and Colossus ) know how my NF7-S turned out... Oh well, the board was crap anyway, was going to RMA/exchange it today. It's at the shop as we speak... Hopefully it is, in fact, the motherboard, and not the CPU as well (they'd have to send that to AMD).
Wish me luck.

No, no!! NOT AT ALL.....I was referring to your 'godly and rare' part...I was just saying that a lot of us have good o'c's - only a rare few of us (Tbird, sorry....)seem to have the 'SF webcam' on every aspect of it....Geez, if you think that I think you were jealous....'twas NOT my intent at all!!

Oh ok, hehe.. it's cool bro . Tbird is the one that thinks I'm jealous of him, lol... whatever.
But yeah... I agree. Tbird seems to be one of the only ones that boasts ALOT about his overclock... even though there's nothing spectacular about it. . Or impressive for that matter.

Mr Tbirdy
we still don't know what speed you really run the 2000+ at, in all the posts asking about that, you have conveniently left that info out."
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
with all due respect, you dance around questions and leave omissions like a vendor at a flea market, and still won't give the answer to what was asked.
yes,i know you BENCHED @ 2475Mhz, 2.2vre, but i know you are not running that everyday, i would even shudder a bit running 2.2 on air only myself.
what i asked is what speed is she running at day to day? 2.38 @ 1.95vre????, or slightly lower, knowing you hate to use too much 'juice', i suspect lower. this has been asked several times, not always by me, either.
so what is it?
what speed do you run day to day??? what vre, what FSB???
my sig gives two figures, the max it will run, and the speed i am running at now, kinda esplains everything. your sig is a mess of misinformation and far too long anyway.
point in fact..........................
"Maxtor 30GB 7200rpm(R.I.P)"
who cares for bleaping out loud, it is dead, gone, and no longer part of the picture.
as far as your opinion on stable, to each his own, i don't like getting kicked to the desktop or having strange stuffs happen, even if only once a week, or once a month.
there is no such thing as 95% stable, this means at the most inconvenient time your system could hiccup and blast whatever you are doing, maybe it hasn't happened yet to you, but it will.

hehehe...i especially liked this comment lost...
and where is the comment from Tbirdy?
