Heatshrink tubing?
Does anyone know where to find good heatshrink tubing, preferably similar to the heatshrink sold at SVC.com with the matte type 'finish' in various sizes? SVC only goes down to 3/8" and I need some 3/16" and/or 1/4". I have found a few places but I can't tell exactly what it looks like. Also, I don't want to pay a whole ton of $$$ for shipping a small order, and really don't dig UPS ground..
Thanks for any help!

I bought that stuff from http://www.wirecare.com/ they seemed pretty reasonable and they're in Florida, so I knew shipping would be fast. Check them out, they have a good selection...

radio schack sells heat shrink tubing too. It looked like they had some smaller sizes.

Oh man, wirecare.com looked sweet but they only carry 3/8" or larger Still, they have a pretty serious selection of sleeving so I think I'll bookmark it in case.
Radio Shack does have some smaller tubing, but there are two major problems with RS:
* The smalll tubing comes in a variety pack of like 4-5 sizes, so you get about 6" of tubing for $3.
* The tubing is ultra-cheap. It really does just look like electrical tape... I'd like something with the matte type of finish liek the shrink from SVC.com.
McMaster-Carr has a ton of heatshrink (amongst other things, the site is crazy loaded). But they don't quote shipping at any point, you just have faith I guess! That's pretty irritating if you ask me, although after emailing them they said I could contact them to determine shipping costs via email. Seems kind of foolish to me.
Allelectronics.com also has some, but their shipping is UPS and sub-par prices IMO.

No, I have plenty of FLEXO, I've sleeved two PSU's in the past few weeks Probably need more eventually though. I need smaller than 3/8" heatshrink tubing as well, larger sizes seem a lot easier to find.

I know this sounds bad but, have you tried "shrinking" the tubing? 3/8" goes down to 1/8" which translates to 3mm.
If you think that I'm a complete moron for asking this, or if I scarred you intelectually, I apologize.

I should think auto parts and electrical trade stores would stock it.
I can buy 1/4' in red white blue and black at any electrical trade store in australia.
Our power wires are half the size of yours so i dont know if your sparks would use 1/4" as much tho.

Lol.. fair enough.. but yes I have been shrinking it It's just with a lot of smaller fan wires it's still too big at 3/8".
GB_Cobber unfortunately I haven't found any heatshrink at the auto stores here, and the only electronics store we ahve is Radio Shack... which is pretty depressing

Heh... just checking. Sounds like you need something that can shrink to around 1.5mm which is roughly the size of 2 fan wires put together.
