    cdrws

    Why cant you use cdrws for music cds?
    My system
    epox 8kha+
    xp 1800+
    Pal 8045 heatsync
    40gig w.d. 7200 rpm
    512mb ddr ram (pc2100)
    Geforce4 ti4200
    3dmarks (2001)

    You can use rw for music cds but most of the cd players cant recognize the media. Computers and some cd players can but not all of them.
    If your good to it, It will be good to you.

    my pioneer deh3500 has no problem reconizing them. I mean the music plays but i was wondering if they have less sound quality or something. so far i cant really tell a diffrence since ive only burned like 1 disc on rw. also does the sound qulity diminsh after a few re writes or what?

    I really dont think there is any difference in sound quality but im not 100% sure.

    There is no difference in sound but data written on CD-RWs are more prone to errors than data written on CD-Rs. The dye formulation and physical composition of the CD-RWs are not as dependable as that of CR-Rs, nor do they have the same longevity.
