Talking New System - Thanks, you guys all rock!

After researching and a bunch of advise from you all, I bought the following:

    ANTEC SONATA PIANO BLACK w/380w PSU - $97 - http://www.newegg.com/app/viewprodu...tion=11-129-127
    Intel Pentium 4 / 2.4CGHz - $169 - http://www.newegg.com/app/viewprodu...tion=19-116-157
    Asus P4P800 Deluxe - $147 - http://www.newegg.com/app/viewprodu...tion=13-131-450
    Two CORSAIR 512MB PC3200 VALUE SELECT - $92 each - http://www.newegg.com/app/viewprodu...tion=20-145-026
    Samsumg 160GB 7200RPM Model# SP1214N - $110 - http://www.newegg.com/app/viewprodu...tion=22-152-013
    NEC ND-1300A/Black/Gen - OEM - $165 - http://www.newegg.com/app/viewprodu...tion=27-152-009
    Sapphire Radeon 9600 Atlantis Pro - $153 - http://www.newegg.com/app/viewprodu...tion=14-102-291

I ordered it from NewEgg on Monday at 10:30am and the gear showed up Wednesday at 2:40pm. Finally go the system built tonight and WinXP is formatting the drive as I type this. I can't believe how the quiet the system is. Maybe I'm used jet engine sound of my CyberPower system, but this new thing is quiet! The NEC 1200A does make some noise when being accessed, but everything else is a barely audible hum.

The only real assembly problem to iron out is that the ASUS P4P800 front panel audio pins don't match the front panel audio connector supplied by the Sonata case. I'll have to research this in the morning.

    Thanks again!

    Well congrats!

I built my first comp two weeks ago and there really is nothing that compares to the feeling of powering up your brand new system for the first time!

I wasn't involved in the recommendation BUT I'm glad to see that your rig's coming together. Your rig looks like it's gonna give you hours of gaming goodness! Let us know how well things go for you, best of luck on your pending new build.
