Mohaa Spearhead, GameSpy Arcade problem (big screenie)

I installed Spearhead on my primary computer and it works great with GameSpy Arcade. Now I'm trying to install it on my bro's computer and this is what happens when I try to go into the Spearhead section of Gamespy:

It just stays there and doesn't change.

We uninstalled Gamespy and installed the latest version off their site. We uninstalled MOHAA and MOHAAS and also reinstalled it. We installed all the latest patches.

    Please help!

    Roger

This may seem weird, but do you have an 8RDA+?

That computer is using an 8K3A+... with the Via KT333 chipset. Does your 8RDA+ do the same thing?

I have another computer that uses an 8RDA+ but I haven't installed Spearhead on it.

I just installed Spearhead on my 8RDA+ computer. It works with gamespy.

It seems to work on my P4 2.4B (Albatron PX845PEV Pro) and on my Athlon XP 3000+ (Epox 8RDA+), but not my 1800+ (OC'ed to 2000+) Epox 8K3a+.

    Maybe its the via chipset?

ok when you installed it on the other computer did you log in the first time with your id?

If so you have to log out first. Its a bug sometimes that mess gs up. You have to find the log out screen on one of the computers log out. Then try and relog in on the other one.

    I fixed it.

I had to uninstall GameSpy, delete the left over files and registry, then download the LATEST version of Gamespy off their site (1.3f) and re-install it. It works now.
Some how Norton Firewall wasn't granting permission to Gamespy v1.3f, but only the the previous v1.3e. If I installed 1.3e and have it update by itself, thats when it screwed up, if I installed the latest version and have it not update by itself, it would work.
