Peltiers?
Seen these things in a few places.. why don't people use them? Not sure exactly how it works. The end on your proc becomes super cold and the other side becomes super hot? Would it require water cooling for something like that or could you use air?

Unless it’s the big Swiftech heatsink/pelt kit, pelts require watercooling. While pelts are popular in the hard core crowd, most folks tend to steer clear of them. Why? Because if you don’t attend to every little detail, things fry.
IMHO, I would start with a start with a watercooled system first. Once you have it dialed in, then consider using pelts. Adding pelts to the equation without some basic watercooling experience usually just confuses things.

Took a look at the swiftech ones. They pretty neat, pelt is built into the hs so no messing around with it really, comes insulated for condensation. Only downside is they highly recommend an 80cfm fan.. tornado, 50db fan
Thanks for the info. Maybe something I'll look into oneday if I go watercooling. No computer upgrades though till I find a job~
