how much does a Router with Access Point, 16 ports cost?

keeps telling me that one of his friends is going to buy him a Linksys 16 port Router, Access Point and maybe it has fiber optic. for around $200 USD

Of course it's ridicolous, but he just doesn't pay attention to to what I say. Anyone care to tell me what one (of it even exists) would cost.

I already checked Linksys webpage and of course didn't find it. He still doesn't believe me

Doesn't matter if there is. He could get a one-port AP and connect it to a 16-port hub. Would do the same thing...

Like chinaski said, you can get a separate 16-port switch and a wireless router to do what he's saying, and you can easily find both of those under $200. But forget about fiber optic at that price.

But I made this thread not how to optimize performance, but to look at facts and see how wrong he his. Maybe this other friend did mention that is was a seperate switch and router with AP that's why it would be that 'cheap' but my friend keeps insisting that he is right
