They put Star Wars in front of it cause he was obviously practicing lightsaber techniques. It's no mystery.

Havn't seen it but I have seen the Starwars Films and a lot of those "techniques" are classical Sword and Staff moves or are made up by classically trained Swordmasters and Martial Artists so I stand by what I said. It's Star Wars that is selling, not the actual techniques.

I think they thought it was Star wars because of the noises he was making, and I dont think it was Star wars that made it so popular, put "Fat kid swings stick and makes funny noises" and it would still be just as funny, though may take a little longer to be as popular.

No offense is meant in this post

For sueing because...their son video taped himself doing something "stupid" then left it in a location where it could be discovered by others, legally considered "in public".

Because he didn't immediately seek copyright over the footage, which would give him legal leverage to have it stopped and seek damages.

No matter how you spin it, a critical degree of personal responsibility was NOT exercised.

What I think sucks about the suit, is that he got so much publicity, he could've just handled it differently. He went into hiding so it came off people were making fun of him (which the original 4 were).

If he would've just come out, and done interviews and been on techtv or some crap, he'd know people are laughing with him, not at him... i dunno how many times I've faked sword fights with myself. Or had a gun drawing competition in the mirror.

I must of had a boring life.. I dont think I had ever done anything like that in my life...

I remember when I was 12 we had Laser Tag, which was fun to play with (when it worked!)...

I think I would lock myself up in my room if something like that got all over the internet... Just because it is on the internet doesnt mean it will be popular... But that did..

Oh wait... I am already in my office most of the time!

All I know is that since I first saw this a few days ago I've shown my wife (got stomach cramps from laughing so hard) and about 5 people at work. Its just too funny. I'm actually laughing WITH the kid and not really AT him because all of us have done some really stupid things when we thought no one was looking. If I was him I would have pasted a $hit eating grin on my face, done the rounds with Leno and Letterman, and made some fat cash...all while laughing at the 4 pricks who digitized and uploaded it. I've got nothing but love for you, Ghyslain!
