USB Extention Cables
Hey guys, the damn xide pad and my optical mouse are too far away from the box. Where can I get some cables for cheap? Also, it's not going to degrade the accuracy of the mouse, or the brightness of the pad, will it? lemme know guys.

check some local stores, they may be a bit more per cable but you don't need to pay shipping
If your sig is longer than your post then type more.

Even at Newegg you're still going to be cheaper than Best Buy, etc. They only carry stuff like "Gold Plated Connectors" by Belkin; they're like $20 per 6' cable...Way too much!
I think that Muisejt meant like a local computer shop...A place where you'd go to get motherboards, CPUs, and such. They generally always carry the same stuff that you'll find at newegg, and of course prices will differ, but at least you won't paying shipping.
Also try http://www.cyberguys.com - 10' USB 2.0 extension for a mere $1.99! That's pre-shipping though...
And as far as signal degradation, as long as you under something like 25', you're fine. If you're over that you have to get a signal amplifier, which are about $20 or so.

Pinchy what color is your Xide-pad? I have the blue one and I wish they would have used the more powerful LED's like the red and green ones. It still looks sweet though
