I saw this deal in the sunday newspaper where i could get a d-link 4 port wireless 802.11B router for 30 bux after rebates. Good deal or bad?

I also saw a wireless 802.11B pcmcia card for 30 bux after rebates. Good deal or bad?

Both are made by d-link.

Reason im asking about this is for my laptop. im getting sick and tired of having to go into my computer room hook up my dsl download email etc etc. Lets just say its getting old to me to have wires attached.

another thing is how well is the latency on wireless products? Could i play like ut2k3 without a latency problem?

sounds good enough. is that a location specific or all office depots? my friend has wireless and he said his games still work flawlessly.

I have no clue if its location specific just saw it day before yesterday in the newspaper.

Only thing i would actually be worried about is the 11Mb 802.11b part of it bc i do like to move movies to my laptop and it only takes about 1 or 2 mins on 100mb lan connection . If that.

I see that Compusa on friday is going to sell a Belkin Wireless 802.11b 11Mbps Cable/DSL router for 9.99 after rebate. The sale price is only good from 6pm to midnight.

with some Linksys AP and Linksys usb wireless card, playnig Diablo 2 was a pain in the ....!!!
