    .htaccess permission etc

    hi

    how do i make the .htaccess and the .htpasswd file to stop people getting into folders that i dont want to be gone into.

    htpasswd .htaccess username


    Use -c is you need to create the file.

    EDIT: apache 2 uses htpasswd2 btw.

    whats the full code i have type -c in and it dont like the command i need to create this with windows
