    I need a really good video convertor WMV to MPEG or AVI.

    Hi, I was wondering what is a really good (free would be great!) program that I can use to convert WMV files to MPEG2/MPEG4/AVI etc etc.

    I use Windows Movie Maker 2 but it sucks because I can only create stupid WMV files.

    What I'm trying to do is edit/save video files to WMV first. Then covert those WMV files to MPEG2, MPEG4 or AVI and THEN finally convert THOSE files to .MOV with my Quicktime Pro software.

    Anyways, what program can I use to convert WMV files to MPEG2/MPEG4 and/or AVI?

    Are there any good converters out there? Any would be great!

    Hell, a WMV to MOV converter would be even better (since this is what I'm really trying to acomplish), sadly enough Quicktime Pro doesn't support WMV to MOV conversion...

    why dont you just save your files as Mpeg files. Thats an easy convert

    why dont you just save your files as Mpeg files. Thats an easy convert
    Windows Movie Maker 2 won't let you do this.

    Also, I did a search on Google, all I could find was Konvertor 3.30, tried it and it sucks, doesn't convert for crap. Some kid must have made that program.
