did i sofmod my 9500?
All the programs tell me i have a 9500, but I softmodded it w/ rivatuner and it said the mod was successful. My 3dmark score without any major optimisations (maybe +10 on core/mem of card) was somewhere around 10600.
I am sore its the right card, it has the L memory and i have a guarantee from the vendor that its moddable without artifacts.

A video cards ID is ussually read from its bios information so unless you flashed the bios it should still read as a 9500.
Only way to tell is benchmarking i guess.

I had a soft-modded 9500. On this system, I was getting 3DM03 scores in the 3800-3900 range without artifacts and with stock cooling. I didn't get the chance to bench it in 3DM2001 or SE, so I don't know what range that should be.
DL the 3DM03 utility and give it a few runs. 3DM03 is a better test for DX9 games anyway. You should get scores in at least the mid-3000's if the soft-mod was successful.
