    stupid me, how do I make a Image file of my floppy

    I'm messing witn VMWare Workstation and also some other app.

    how would I go making a IMage file of my Floppy?

    I'm in WinXP and the disket is a Win98Boot Disc

    Umm, couldn't you just copy the floppy?

    the thing is I had the boot floppy for along time and that and my floppy drive is starting to crap out. (I don't really have any decent shape diskette anymore)

    also since booting/running from an IMage in my HD is way FASTER than runing off the actual thing. doesn't temporialy "freeze" my machine either

    I'm not sure but maybe you could use a program like ISO-Buster. Do a Google search and you will find it.

    IsoBuster does not make images. It reads and extracts from the images.
