Exclamation Help Help I need to fix this HP PC!

This is what I wrote to HP they didnt respond can anyone here get a hold of these drivers and send me them?

    THANKS!

I bought a HP Pavilion 513w about 5 months ago or so. My hard drive crashed last week, and all the drivers for the computer, which came on a separate partition on the drive, were lost. I have a new hard drive installed with the WinXP home setup on it. (Which I purchased a new copy of hoping it would recognize the motherboards drivers) It did not recognize everything; including the video card, sound card and a few others I cant remember off hand. How can I get a hold of the drivers I need for my pc? Your website does not list the drivers I need.

    Thank you,
    Mark Williams

You might want to crack open your Tower and get the spec numbers of the parts, i am sure you could find the drivers on the net. If they are all integrated, do a search for mobo type drivers and you should find them. Good luck.

I could find no offered driver download from HP on that model. You might have to take the advice mentioned above or attempt to use the HP Recovery CD to install the drivers.
Details on how to do this is available on the lower half of the page here..............

thats one of the problems, this model of HP didnt come with a restoration cd. It all resided on a extra small write protected partition on the drive. The entire hard drive failed so I cannot access that either.

I will try you advice on the motherboard, I just hope it says something on it.

    Thanks!

See if you can determine what chipset the motherboard has(if you cna't determine the make and model of the mobo itself). I am going to make an assumption that everthing is integrated on the mobo. If you can find the chipset manuf. and number you might be able to go to their website and get chipset drivers that will work. I have done this once for an HP.
