Hammerhead Shark
MaxBoost Software for Maxtor Drives
MaxBoost Software.
The claim is that this utility will increase performance in Maxtor harddrives between 2 to 50 percent.
Has anybody tried it out? Would be interesting to hear some real-world experiences with it...

Hammerhead Shark
I just finished reading that and I don't think I am gonna try it. I think it's gonna dump to much onto your ram and bog down the overall system performance. The web site says you need a min of 256 ram and that just sounds scary to me. I don't want the HD pushing its job onto my memory.
