Most of that list I like, except I keep trying to tell people lately about this RAM deal that Mushkin is having. I just got it in Tues. - 2x512 of what they're calling their "Promo Build". It's $139./per + $6. shipping.
It's on an excellent Mushkin PCB (IMHO, Mushkin makes the best PCB's for memory sticks in the biz), and it has the same Winbond BH-5 mem chips as Corsair XMS PC3500! But the clincher is: it's full 2-2-2 CAS!, not 2-3-2, etc. I am sure it will o/c to 3500 speeds easily, and I'll find out as soon as I get an o/c'able mobo.
Check it out at http://www.mushkin.com/epages/Mushkin.storefront
Also, I remember seeing Sharky recommending Mushkin PC3200 in their January High-End Gaming Rig

And for further reference, check this link

...you'll see that Corsair isn't "the only game in town". Anyway, good luck building yer rig!

You know it!
Proves that in certain rigs (Intel 875; nForce2 Ultra 400) using the PC3500 mem range, the Musky PC3500 Level II kicks ANY and ALL serious forms of a$$!
Just wish I could afford it!

I just want two 512MB DDR DIMMS, (Wait, there is no DualDDR on Intel Boards is there?) and I want them to have CAS timings of 2-2-2-5-T1, and I want them to run at 400MHz (PC3200). They have to be good quality and reliable though, y'know? I dont want them to break after I turn the PC on.
Goddamnit! Those are PC3500 dimms!

Here is another question about RAM. should I get more RAM, (As in 2gigabytes, 4x512Mb DIMMs of say, PC3200 Memory) or faster memory. (2x512MB PC3500 DImms)
I mostly game, and do 3ds Max work.
