What is this?
Is this a 232-pin continuity rimm?

The admin gave me a box of random stuff and there were a couple of these. Never laid sight on them before.

hehe
At first I thought I got some more RAM, there were two of 'em stuck in a static bag. Then I looked at them later I'm like WTH? I've barely played with RDRAM so that's all I can think of. It just seems to look a little off for a 232 crimm?

It says Copyright 1999 all rights reserved. There are almost no markings on it, just one longggg number on the back which brings up nothing in Google.

that is a Slot 1 CPU terminator card, it is when a single CPU is used in a dual CPU motherboard

looks like a CIMM (i think that's what is called) which is the terminator card for Rambus pairs. then again it could be a slot1 terminator, but i never new the needed that. (which i really don't think they do)

A CRIMM

A Slot 1 terminator card

Processor Integration Issues
If using a single processor, make sure that a terminator card is installed securely in the secondary slot. This card is required in the absence of a second processor
