"Malcom" in UT2003
Finally got the full version of UT2003.
Did anyone else have a hell of a time with that guy "Malcom" in the final tournament?
I won every single match until the final tournament, That Malcom dude wore me out about 15 times in a row before I finally got him.
Also, how do you use the rocket packs?

The last level was designed for your skill level, meaning, if you are a hardcore player like Thresh in Quake3, you will be challenged. If you suck, well..the game is still hard.
Some people tried to "trick" the game into making the last level easier by letting Malcom kill you easily and when the score is 7 - 0 lay waste to him since by then the game will take too long to re-adjust to your "new" skill level.
How do you use the rocket packs? What do you mean? Like the rocket ammo ?

I just keep picking up red boxes called rocket packs-Duh guess they are just ammo.
I thought they were like Jet Back packs or something.
The first time I played the the game I set up a profile on "Average" thought I was all Bad until Malcom had his way with me...

Awesome.
Malcom is an adapting bot, he'll get harder as you get better. I found him to be relatively easy, you just need to have good reflexes.

You must have superhuman reflexes then. I swear the difficulty level became beyond "Unreal" when I made a turn to a different corridor and within less than a fraction of a split-second I got turned into leaky meat from his Flak cannon.
To emphasive, it wasn't that I saw him for nearly a second or even a split-second. The total time elapsed when I saw him to my death was probably 1/10th of 0.1 seconds. Without making that sound too exaggerrated, "I didn't know what hit me until it was too late."
I find myself to be a pretty good first person shooter player, so I don't think lack of skill was the main issue. I'm trying to say that without sounding like I'm bragging, if I come out to be.

LOL, First person shooters are mostly what I'm good at. That's why I was so surprised when that prick Malcolm kicked my butt. I am feared
internationally in MOHAA/SPEARHEAD. Even my wife has a rep...
If you ever see "PopPopBiotch"-be afraid. Tremble even cause I'll take you and it will be embarassing. If you see "MrsPopPop", you might as well leave the game cuz she's got faster reflexes than me.

Yeah and it was like lightning all of a sudden. He would appear out of nowhere and blast me w/a flak cannon.
I feel your pain. I had won every single match without a defeat until Malcolm. I think I finally got him after about 15 tries. He messed up my won-loss match ratio
