    is htaccess and htpasswd compatiliable with running on windows xp pro

    i my having problems with the password not being reconnoized using the ht permission on windows xp is it compatiliable with this os

    What web server are you running? I don't believe IIS supports the .htaccess stuff. If you are running apache, please provide more details.
