[Benchmark Related] Who plays Commanche 4???
I see this game by Novalogic used in benchmarks all the time, I just noticed it again today on a Athlon64 bench (http://www.hothardware.com/hh_files/...64fx_51_launch(6).shtm). I've never even seen this game before, and no one seems to talk about it either. Am I missing out on something, why do some many people use this as a benchmark? When I see it in an article I quickly glaze over it as I don't feel it represents any games I play.

I could see the use of 3Dmark, it being an actual benchmark utility. How old is Commanche, there aren't any newer games that are cpu dependent?

They use it because it has DX9 features in it, but testing has shown this program to be alomost purely CPU limited.
