    OC'ing AMD 1800+ and Biostar M7VIZ-A07 MB

I'm building a dedicated folding machine using an AMD 1800+ and a Biostar M7VIZ motherboard (the $99 combo from NewEgg). As this is my first OC for a specific purpose, I'm hoping you have some suggestions.

    1. Mod the processor? If so what to and is there a recommendation for a web site describing how.

    2. Update FSB / etc in bios and stick with unmodded processor.

Here is the information off the black label on the processor:
    AMD Athlon
    AXDA1800LT3C 9814376281242
    JIUHB 0329WPMW

What strategy would you use? Looking for nice speed bump, but great reliability running 24/7.

    Thanks

Hhhhmmm, are you shocked I took the time to type in that number (not knowing what was importantant) or does that mean I can make it a 3400 and it will work perfectly?

Looking at the manual on Biostar's site, looks like the only OC option is to raise the FSB to 166 (for 1.9G). Close JCLK1 pins 5-6, rest should be open. There's also the Warpspeeder software to OC some more, but I don't see any way of adjusting the muliplier.

if i'm not mistaken, the max oc ur cpu can do is 2.8 ghz which is really high for an 1800+, my 1700+ can do 2.6 ghz if the stepping is really right
