But if you have a decent job, you can live pretty well, living costs are very very low compared to Canada or Europe.
I can say I live pretty well and in a very nice and beautiful neighborhood in the slopes south of Caracas. The weather here is great!. As for computer parts, well, I built my PC with all parts bought here (see sig), you can find most parts, but the more "exotic" brands and equipment like prometeia cooling rigs and hardcore memory, etc., you won't find them here, although you can always order them online from the US, paying a premium of course.

If you like the beach, you will be more than pleased here also...

Oh, and if you like women (I'm sure you do), well, let's just say that we have a Guinness record on that!

(don't know if I can post some examples of that though )
I'm in love! Is it easy to immigrate there? What about broadband internet? That is a fuggin sweet looking place to live. I'm sure someone from Canada with a college education would have no problem getting a job there.

I doubt you have ever played any game at all.
Or... what have you been smoking today?
I love my GC, and those are fav. games. Tell me, name any xbox games besides Halo and KoTOR that is highly rated (in reviews) then the games mentioned above.

Nightbringer, you live in a beautiful place by photos.

(don't know if I can post some examples of that though )

Hey, I was being sarcastic btw, I absolutely love my GC, I have all the greatest games for it. My favorite console out of the three.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to immigrate here, even more if you come from a well developed 1st world country like yours

Of course there's broadband internet, there's DSL, Cable and WLL (Wireless Local Loop) connections, ranging from 256kbps to 2MBps +.

You're right, someone with a college education from Canada can get a very good job easy here. That's why there's people here who go to live in US, Canada or Europe for studying college there, and then come back so they get paid better here. I may be doing an MBA or something up there now that I'm about to finish college here.

Well, what kind of job could I get that is well paying? What is in demand there? Also, what is the language spoken there? I may need to pick it up if I go down there. I was thinking of going through for firefighting here. I wonder if they would hire someone with a college education as a firefighter there from a first world country? I am in a computer course right now so that might help as well. I'm sure the jobs that pay less here pay a lot more there.

No in fact, the jobs that pay less in Canada will pay even less here, the thing is, life is much cheaper here (food, services, etc.), so $ for $, it may end up being about the same. Although a firefighter here may not get paid well enough to have a nice living. You'll be paid much better as a programmer for one of the bigger companies, or just by doing some basic computing stuff like organizing payments and stuff in Excel for a medium/small company or store. The right job might depend on your career. What's your college career?.

I'm about to graduate as a Software Engineer, and I know they pay pretty well in that department here (again, for Veneuela's life cost standards, it's more than enough).

The official language is Spanish, although English is spoken in the wealthier parts of Caracas and other major cities.

I'm taking a networking course but I know a bit of excel, and stuff like that. I also have a bit of networking background. I'm sure I could pick up a good job there. That would be sweet to make a good living in a paradise like that I may even make the move there, I'll be looking into it for sure.

Yea I'm pretty sure you'd get a nice job and a good living here. Just wait a year or so till we get rid of that problematic f**ing as*** of president we have (Chavez) (oh just go to www.yahoo.com and see the headlines, there he is again, cursing the whole planet, damn beast), and things should be nice and prosperous.

If you ever make the move, just PM me

    You're more than welcome here

I'm still only a young guy (19 in 2 weeks) however I could just imagine a really nice house, at age 21 or so that would be really nice! I have heard about him but I hear he is on his way out the door. If I do move though which seems like a lot of fun, I will contact you, and it seems like your city is one of the nicer ones to live in
