instability is my middle name
so yea, ive got my mad 2500 OC'd to 2.26 (205x11) with buff tech pc3200 512 ram, i upped vcore to 1.7 and im still getting instability (it resets at odd times from a point in unreal 2k3 to when i tried to minimize my virusscan while it was scanning...) also when i do prime95 it gets errors an hour or so into it...any ideas on what i should do to tweak my comp? should i just bunp the vcore all the way to 1.85? back down on the fsb? adjust memory settings?
thnx for the advice in advance!

bump to 1.8...see if that holds the stability, if that doesn't knock it down to 200 and call it quits.

What kind of voltage are you supplying the ram? Adding more of that could help. Usually those Barton's don't need lots of extra voltage for 2.26Ghz.

im not sure right now (since im in logic lab as of now) but when i get home ill check...
i was always a lil worried bout messin with my memory settings cuz thats the only thing i havent really reseached much of , will it be ok to pump up the voltage on the mem a lil at a time? i wont burn it out will i? ramsinks maybe? or are those a waste of money i heard they dont do much for performance...

Yeah don't buy ramsinks. I'm surpirsed the ram you got doesn't already have them. Adding vdimm is very safe and very common. Most sticks can tolerate 2.9v pretty well. Its above 3v where you want to start paying attention IMO.
