ok, i found somewhere that you can put choose something like acrobat distiller on the print menu and that will convert the files. does distiller come with acrobat 3? i tried to download it but when i went to install it, it said that it couldnt find the presence of acrobat 3 so it would not install it. help?

You need full-blown Adobe Acrobat to do this. What would happen is that it would install a "printer emulator" called "Adode PDFWriter" as a printer's name. And when you print to it, it will save the output as a *.pdf file you'd specify... but as far as I am aware, you need the full Adobe Acrobat to do it... which is very expensive.

There are shareware/freeware print drivers that will convert printer output to pdf format.
