ATI 9800SE AT the speed of 9800pro!!! using hacked drivers ... did any try this ?

I read an interesting Article about a hacked driver of Cataclyst called Omega driver.. they claim it enables the 9800pro inside the 9800SE GPU.. the results are near 9800pro..did any of u guys try this out? or has any experience? the good thing about this driver that the hack state can be turned off and on.. please check this site it is in german just see the TEST...

this is NOT OVERCLOCKING it is HACKING the driver to make it accept the SE as PRO it enables 8 piplines on the 4 piplened SE the GPU is the same I think but locked

this is cool man the ATI9800SE sells for less than 200$

I dont think a driver hack can overwrite the BIOS

It might push the video cards GPU/MEM speeds to Pro, but I dont see how it can overcome the hardcoded BIOS

I have seen people with the hacked BIOS and their score was not even close to a 9800Pro... It was closer then a 9800SE.. But not to the full extent of a 9800Pro

screw the se, get a real 9800, flash it to a pro if you wish
