New Helicopter SIM?
As a long time fanatic of great rotery craft flight sims, such as the original Janes Longbow, Apache Havok, Longbow II, and Enemy Engaged, I'm looking for something new.
Enemy Engaged is a great sim, but it's almost 4 years old, the graphics are way outdated.
Does anyone know of anything on the horizon that has Comanche 4 like graphics in a real Sim? (C4 is fun, but it's an FPS, not a flight sim)

Sorry to dissappoint.
I was hoping someone had heard something I haven't. Razorworks seems uninterested in making anything new.
There has to be a market...

I've got to admit C4 is still on my buy list. I agree 100% it's not pureform flight sim, but the dynamics of the gameplay and visuals have still kept it on.
The last good helicopter sim I played was Gunship 2000 on a 386. Full out variety in the lineup. In fact, I think it's a freeware download now. I wonder how many frames I could run it at now...

Are you talking about the one called "Jane's Apache"? That was a nice game.

those were the days, I remember that game. Yeah, we really do need a new kind of heli sim, preferably one with big missiles

Jane's Apache Longbow was an amazing game. If it was made now and could use more than about 9 polygons to render the ground/mountains/whatever, it would have been perfect.
