What did I say to provoke that? I was simply summing up what I thought you were saying.

If you've ever programmed a significant project you know that you can still be working your *** off and not meet a deadline. When you are talking about millions of lines of codes for a cutting edge graphics and physics engine, it doesn't take much to cause delays. Obviously I don't know whether the ppl at valve are slacking off or not for sure, but I'm willing to bet there boss is just letting them do nothing.

Also all this conspiracy theory stuff is pretty sad when you think about it. A video game got delayed, big deal. I'm sure everyone can live without half-life 2. Also, if you're that into video games that you're living and dying by a release calendar, there will be plenty of promising games out soon anyway.

As much as I like Tool, Robert Plant is the greatest singer ever and Cliff Burton the greatest song writer ever

How can you deny the poetry of Cliff Burton:

Make his fight on the hill in the early day
    constant chill deep inside
shouting gun, on they run through the endless grey
on they fight, for they are right. yes, but who's to say?
for a hill men would kill why? they do not know
    suffered wounds test their pride
men of five, still alive through the raging glow
gone insane from the pain that they surely know.....
