Upgrading to Office 2003
After reading a recent thread, I've decided to make the switch. Typicallly, I've only done major Office upgrades with a fresh Windows install, but I'm not planning a fresh install anytime soon.
Does anyone have any advice about upgrading from Office 2000 to 2003 (both Pro)? I haven't read anything in MS's docs about how to upgrade (have I missed a file?). Should I bother uninstalling 2000 first? Or will 2003 install on top okay?

It is not really a big deal. I have a feeling if you tried installing the latest version it would ask if you want to uninstall the old version but if it doesn't, just go to add/remove, drop the old version of office, pop your new office cd in and install, that is it...

Wow - there's built in support for uninstalling previous versions in the installer. With the custom install, you can select specific apps to replace or not uninstall. Pretty cool.
