    verify components...

    i hate helping other people with computer parts that i am not too experienced with, but my friend just got a laptop and wants to share the internet connection he has with his desktop. he also wanted wireless. can you guys please confirm these parts would work together...i havent really done anything wireless before...

    thanks for the help. i dont really care which is the better deal, or which is the better product, or so on. it is purely just a compatibility issue that i am curious about...will either of these pcmcia cards work with the router? thanks!

    Yes, either will work with that router. But in case you didn't notice, the Trendnet card is wireless but the Netgear card is wired 10/100 Ethernet.
