It blows aways my pathetic Platronic headset (came with Microsoft GameVoice).
This headset is awesome, I really like it! ^^

stock fan
2200mhz @ stock v-core (200 X 11)
2300mhz @ 1.75v (200 X 11.5)
2400mhz @ 1.95v (200 X 12.0)
Going higher than 2400mhz is near impossible with air cooling.

You could consider the Beyerdynamic DT831's or the DT880's.
I warn you though, neither will be cheap.

I actually like the HD580s and a decent amp, but again, that could cost more than you'd like.

DT880's would actually be more expensive than the HD580's, both would require an amp. The DT831's would require an amp as well, but are cheaper than the previous 2 options.

Yeah, the Senn212Pros are so good, they took one look at my old Sony headphones (The open ones with the plastic thing that swooped behind your head) and said, "Hahah, 0wned!" Then the headphones turned to me and said, "All your ears are belong to us!!!"
