    memory timings..

running my new 2500 at 3200(2.21ghz)and for the most part its stable, only crashes while playing Halo, ill get an exception error after 10-15min of playing,

Im using stock cooling and would like to know which is a QUIET hsf out there that can cool this down a lil more, also..

    my mem timings are stock on my a7n8x with 2x512 mushkin 2700, there 2.5 3 3 7.

i tried 2.2.2.6 and had to reset my bios to post.

now running it at 2.3.3.7 and ran 3dmark and was stable.

i dont know much about ram, still learning from you all here, ive heard running mem in sync but i dont know how to do this.

    any advice?

The only way I know to cool your cpu down and have a quit fan at the same time is to get a SLK-800 and I would recommend a smart fan 2 also.

follow what lonewolf said plus, what your crashes are due to could be not enough vcore to the cpu. it might not just be the memory but a combination of the two. Try raising the vcore if rasing the latencies doesn't entirely solve the problem.

the coolermaster aero7+ is also very quiet and effective. as for memory timings, try 11-3-3-2 or 11-2-2-2.5.

i have tested all CAS latencies from 4 to 14 on my 8rda+ and i got the best results with 11, followed closely by 4 and then 5. i don't honestly know why.
