Using a Nokia 3650 to get online with laptop?
Just tell me is it possible? What software would I need and is it fast enough to play any type of game online whilest on the road? Would it at least be fast enough to surf the web? Thanks.

well acording to: http://nokia.com/nokia/0,8764,2275,00.html
Wireless Connectivity
Infrared
Bluetooth
Connect phone wirelessly to a compatible phone or a compatible PC
Send/receive pictures, video clips, and graphics
Play games
You can connect it to your lappy with bluetooth.
I am not sure if you can use it as a modem or just swap files
but if you can:
Data Transfer
Up to 43.2 kilobits per second in high-speed circuit switched data networks
Up to 40.2 kilobits per second in GPRS networks
so 40k which is alright, I mean about what you would usually connect at via dialup.
Although if you could find a hotspot with a 802.11x card it would be alot better.

Or I could get a Sierra wireless air card! Which provides like 150K on the road! It's like a cell phone but without the cell phone part. Expensive though. hey would one of those dial-up boosters (I've heard of them for like $8 a month) you can double or triple your speed which means I'd get like 120K, which is much better. Plus with T-Mobile I get unlimited net access for $30 monthly and plus the 8 for the booster is only $38 monthly. However now that I checked, I can get a wireless air card from T-Mobile for that same $30 monthly. That's much better, plus I can pay another $20 for their hotspot coverage. So for $50 monthly I can get an awesome air card to gow with my lappy and get unlimited net access at broadband speeds plus I cna use all of T-Mobile's hotspots! Once I get the cash i am deffinetly gona go with that. I'll probably get a 3650 as my cellphone though. Anyway, tell me what you think of the Aircard.
