    damn it

    So i took the little covers off my altec lansing 641's sats. Ive had them on since ive had the speakers. So i was sitting here looking at how beautiful these speakers are when i reached out and pushed in the cone on my back left sat. GOD DAMN IT slaps hand

    Were you high/drunk this time as well?

    I would email or call them and see what kind of replacement options you have, or you can just take the whole speaker apart. I don't know if you could still puch it out though

    I actually did this to the sub on my old Cyber Acoustics, I just laughed cause it looked so funny

    Did you do this right after you "watered" your microphone?

    I believe you pushed in the "dustcap" on the 641's midrange/midbass driver. It shouldn't cause any problems for sound quality. What kind of material is this dustcap made of?

    Would it really effect sound quality if the cone was indented instead of round?

    I don't think it would make a big difference, that's also one of the reasons that I never take the covers off my sats...

    You CAN'T push in the dust cap on my Z560's, it's an aluminum phase plug.
