    DirectX 9.0, 9.0a, 9.0b???

    What is the differance between the differant releases of directx 9? (DirectX 9.0, 9.0a, 9.0b)

    i think just some slight fixes/tweaks/performance improvements. I don't have a answer more specific than that. I'm sure it might say if your search at microsoft somewhere....might take a day or two though...

    yeah now that I look back at my futuremark benchies I realized I'd had it too before the last reformat. shows how much I pay attention. and btw to answer my own question, MS says: DirectX 9.0b increases performance, and security to your Windows machine. I guess I shouldn't have expected much detail from them.
