    windows update

    is it just my computer or is this another microsoft thing? i have set mozilla firebird to my default browser, but when i click on windows update it opens it in ie. not that i care, but just thought it odd.

    Windows update is a shortcut to an exe. So it just runs as it was coded to. The actual program it invokes is wupdmgr.exe.
