    Is it true that VIA C3's only use 7 watts...and a 1GHz clockspeed equal a 800MHz-1GHz P3?

    My 486DX-33 does not use a heatsink but on hot weather like Las Vegas it had stability problems and I had to thermal glue a black fanless heatsink to it...I think 486's started the heatsink requirement on PC's.

    Ive seen some reviews for the C3's and they said you can run the CPU's even without a heatsink ...

    if you can run them without a heatsink they'll be nice for PDA's and such.

    They need a heatsink I believe, but a small one. But their FPU performance is severley lacking.
    Currently using:
