Anyways ya your 2500+ should hit 3200+ speeds no problem and isn't there an issue with FX cards not rendering Half-Life 2 correctly? If so rub that in his face and let him know that he wasted a bunch of money. You can probably overclock your videocard enough to beat him in other games as well and if not you could always say... <simpson refrence>roll him up in a carpet and throw him off a bridge tehehehehe</simpson refrence>

When his crappy A64 board bombs every other day with blue screens and all the random problems with stability (due to the board being buggy) and you are gaming away at a higher framerate and with stability..

ummmm, honestly who cares who's computer is faster? I mean if it's a big deal that his comp is better than yours then you have some problems. At least you can use his comp if yours can't run something well. I dunno I just don't understand how it's a bad thing if you both have 2 good comps. Would it be better if he had a piece of crap and you can't play games together? As long as you're happy with your purchase and comp who gives a damn.
