    how good are Epox 8K5A2+ boards?

    Title pretty much says it all. I have a chance to snag one of these for 30$ bucks. It's a year old, hence my delibiration... any input?

    FX-62 / MSI K9N PLATINUM SLI / 2x1GB Patriot DDR2 800 / XFX 7600GT
    IBM T60 / 1.83 GHz Core Duo / 1.5 GB DDR2 667 MHz / 80 GB SATA HD / ATi X1300 64 MB / Fingerprint reader!!!

    It would be a small upgrade from your current mobo. Its a very OC friendly mobo too. Ask yourself if you're after more performance and if you OC or not. If you seek a major upgrade however you'll have to look elsewhere and spend more $$

    I just sold mine. They are very good motherboards. Espically for $30. It has RAID, too. Only reason I ditched it was for Nforce2. You can't compare ECS to Epox .
    Currently using:
    Gigabyte nForce 570
    Phenom 940 II 3.0GHz
    4GB DDR2
    Geforce 8800GT
    Audigy
