The ratio of correct/incorrect spelled words was 4/10, or a 40%.

Lol, I'm one of those grammer nazi's. I didn't mean to make fun, just playing around

The first you should have done was to throw that ugly black window trim away. You can attach your window using some good quality double sided tape. You can also buy some nice trim and use that if you are dead set on using trim.

Check out this thread to see what I am talking about. BTW I used a dremel to cut mine worked just fine just had to file the edges after ward.

    dude! nice job!

The hole in the door is already bigger than the acrylic, so I can't do that chrome molding that you did which looks awesome!

You're saying that home depot carries better quality moldings (trim)?!? That'll be great if they do!

I don't know if you ever worked with this molding that was included in the kit, but it is not very flexible when you go around the corners of the window frame. It just pops out.

I went to Lowes and they said they don't carry anything that resemble this molding.

I called a few glass repair places but they don't sell moldings alone

    This blows.

I think some automotive shops have molding... you could try auto zone or a body shop near where you live... other than that there is the internet.

It sounds like the molding route isn't working for you, so why not bite the bullet and pick up another piece of acrylic and use TAZ's idea for the double-sided tape or screws (how I did mine), rivets, or whatever way you want.

That's how this mess got started.....

Look at the pics. CompUSA window kit.

    Instructions followed>>>>>>no fittie.

NOTE: I have to applaud CompUSA for offering a decent amount of modding supplies over the counter, but I too have had some cruddy luck with their stuff. I got one of their CCFL's and the thing died in about two months....Bad luck I guess.

Yeah, I'll simply buy a piece of acrylic, smooth the edges on the case, and stick it on.

It might take a little bit before I have it completed... but when i finish the project, i will be sure to post pics
