    java with mozilla firebird .61

    i have tried to install it so many times, yet it never seems to work. any secrets or tips to getting it working?

    Not sure what to tell you. It works fine in the full Mozilla package. Have you reinstalled the JRE and made sure the Control Panel applet is pointing to the right place?

    Might wanna try this:

    I'm not sure it will work with Firebird. But this site is home to the java stuff.

    download http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/resources/firebird.reg and run it (you will need to edit the file if your Firebird executable is not at C:\\program files\\MozillaFirebird\\MozillaFirebird.exe, leave the double slashes) then install Java

    It give a detail explanation on how to get JAVA to work. You may also want to consider upgrading to version 0.7
