formatting/installing windows on a HD to use on a different PC

is there any cons to putting my blank 80GB WD HD into my older PC, format and install windows, and then put it into my new PC? [when my new PC gets fixed]

it just going to cause problems when you put it in the new computer as Windows will be configured to use the hardware in the old PC. Save yourself the trouble and wait.
