    ARGGGH Buffalo tech sold out!

    where else can i order a stick of pc3700 buffalo tech from? mwave doesnt sell it and newegg is completely out, no luck on searching pricegrabber etc...just got my new visa card and i need to put myself in debt

    You might get some Buffalo Tech PC3200 winbond, I believe it has CH5 chips.

    i'm thinking of selling mine....and the picture of the buffalo 3200 at newegg shows it's ch5 and that's what i've heard from everyone.

    I JUST(today) recieved my 2x512mb pc3200 buffalo tech ram from newegg. it was indeed CH-5 chips. im a happy camper. btw, the shipping was ridiculously fast!! i bought it on 10/21/03 and it came today 10/23/03. maybe it's because i live in CA.

    Adisharr, everyone here that uses the ch-5 chips all swear by them I think...I'm pretty sure it's good ram.

    Most ppl have said pretty good things about the buffalos. i have no clue about the infineons.

    maximumpc said buffalo sucks, but if you look at the ram stick, it's infenion chips, i think i got the last of the windbond chips sticks, from newegg, but it's pc3200, maxpc was testing PC4300. i doubt i can even get that speed myself, so that's highend, it still matched the mushkin ram (even though it was rated for higher).

    as long as you get the CH-5 chips.. its all good.. look at my sig... and from my personal testing i can say its better than mushkin black 2 which costs 2-3 times more

    I live in OH and, whether it's from the CA or NJ warehouse, it is always here in that timeframe. Amazing.

    Not that MaxPC is the be all - end all but most of the stuff I read in there I tend to agree with..
