Microsoft Streets and Trips 2001 - UNRESPONSIVE!
Does anyone here use MS Streets and Trips? A friend handed me a copy to evaulate because he says using Mapquest is sad and pathetic, but for some reason I cannot get it to run. All there was on the cd is an autorun file and it's proprietary files in large capacity, however clicking the autorun results in nothing happening. I tried to run it in compatability mode; tried all modes and still the same disappointing result.
Wierd huh?
Running Winxp pro.

Microsoft products must be installed. Is there an inf file on the CD? If so, right click the file and select install.

You're right, there was a 2nd cd which was missing. Only now that I've installed the files, I get an error message saying:
This application is unable to continue running because of problems accessing the network.
BTW, autorun is still unresponsive and the only way to access it is through the start menu.

AFAIK you need both CDs. One is the code and the other is the data.
I've never used the product, but it is similar to the MapPoint component of MS Office.

That's just it; I found the missing half and installed it, now nothing is missing yet it still will not work. I'm confused.
