How to encode MP3 in Virtualdub?

    Hey guys,

I've recently run into a problem. I thought I had installed LAME, but when I go to convert some video in my computer I can choose XVID or DIVX for video compression and that works fine, but I don't have any choice for encoding audio in MP3 other than <56kps. How do I get the higher compressions so I can get quality sound?

    Thanks.

did you install the lame acm, found here?

When selecting an audio compressor in virtual dub, make sure to select "Lame MP3", not "MPEG Layer-3."
