    Angry fsb question.....

    hi
    in my bios (v1010) i can't change my fsb .
    there is the option but i simply can't change the values....
    can anyone tell me how to solve this?
    Processor: C2D E4300 @ 2.7; ram: A-Data 2Gb ddr2-800; Motherboard: Gigabyte p35-ds3r; HDD: maxtor diamondmax9 120gb; Video card: XFX 8800GTS; soundcard: audigy2 zs platinum;

    IIRC you need to set it to "manual" instead of auto or something like that first.

    i've changed it to manual when i said that....

    Highlight the spot where your FSB is, click enter and it should bring up a box where you type in the FSB you want.

    i've done that before and it didn't appear nothing...
    i'm starting to think my fsb is locked....

    edit:BTW i think my motherboard is a revision 2 or something...

    Once you highlight an option you should be able to use the "-"/"+" keys or the "9"/"6" keys.

    After you've changed the value, F10 lets you save what you've done in most BIOSes, if not all.

    All the commands for utilizing the BIOS are on every page of the BIOS too...you can't miss it....

    thanks, i didn't know it was supposed to use the "+" and "-" buttons..........
