    What can this be used for

    IVe got a question what would a xp2500 be used for if its paird with 64mb igp. I mean about the only thing that would use the cpu power of a xp2500 would be a game..........

    is it just for the "i gots me a xp 25 hunert" ??????

    Thigns like start up and windows task will go faster. You will be able to run more programs at once. So on.

    Well you should have known and done your research. IMO I use my laptop for school, movies, server, music sometimes. I hardly game on mine even though I know I can(M9 64DDR card)

    i dont game on mine even if i wanted to its just the fact that "i could" or better yet "i cant"


    maybe if i get another battery and some more ram i will be happier with it. (battery lasts around 4-2 hours..)

    btw i did do some reasearch i posted on here a few times asking about upgradeable laptops and also over in notebooktalk.com was recomended the m505 i also researched the dell 5150 but the final deciding factor was the $$$$ and the rebates im getting back on the current one... One thing i didnt realise while in the store was how flimsy this thing is. To weigh around 8 pounds its made out of cheap plastic.

    the only reason they come like that is so those who dont know better will feel smarter for buying the latest and greates laptop, but the best way to go is to spend a little less on the chip and upgrade your hd to a 7200rpm and you will notice a fairly sizeable jump in all around performance, and more ram never hurts
