Lighting - Tube or Laser LEDs?

Can anyone give me feedback on their opinion of using Laser LEDs instead of the Neon tubes for interior lighting? I saw these "laser" LEDs advertised and it suggests that they can light up the case as well as a regular tube, but I wanted to ask before I made the mistake of buying them.

    Thanks!

I find that Cold Cathodes (Tubes) really spread the light out more evenly through the case. If you was looking to highlight a certain area then LEDS are fine. I am sure there are powerful extra bright LEDS that can light whole rooms up but its still a matter of taste. I have both in my Fragbox the combo works nicely..

Can check out how bright lazer leds make my case in my sig. I like them more than cathodes. If you get 2-3 your looking at a good amount of even light throughout the entire case (obviously depending on size). I had a blue cathode in my case before these and the more ambient light from the leds makes a nicer effect imo versus the bombarding the inside with light using a cathode.
