    Keyboard LEDs

I have a Logitech Elite keyboard and i wanted to remove the green LEDs and solder in some blue ones. I'm wondering if anyone has tried doing anything like this or knows of any guides on this. I'm curious as to how difficult it may be.

I have done this to a M$ natural keyboard

would have been nice if i had the correct size at the time....
I have 5mm LEDs at the time and the board used 3mm

"Used" that is, thanks to my drill bit, I drilled out the holes and stuffed the new blue ones in there.

My KB uses a fancy contact patch to make the connection, so no solder was needed.

Then, I have also done this on an plain old Micron KB, that was a solder job, and its really easy, just take care not to get things hot and burn the PCB, then you are S.O.L

Check your polarity on the LED before you stick in, that about all you really need to worry about.

    Godd luck

Blue is such a pimp color. I think ever since coolermaster used it on their cases, everyone copied and got a hard on for blue led.

I'm picking up a microsoft pro combo and might do this.
